why choose play on Words Speech Therapy?

At POW, your child is not just a number.

Laura’s mission in starting Play on Words Speech Therapy was to create a pediatric therapy practice where each child is seen as a unique individual, and their treatment celebrates those unique strengths and interests. We truly care about your child and providing them with comprehensive, individualized care. You will never be seen as just a number or a metric.

Furthermore, Laura is a huge believer that a speech therapist should be passionate about not only treating your child’s unique areas of need - but also passionate about continued learning in those areas. Often speech therapists are generalists, but at Play on Words Speech Therapy, Laura aims to be a lifelong learner in her areas of specialization and frequently seeks out continuing education opportunities to further her knowledge and better serve her community.
